This privacy policy describes how Will Van Eaton Photography ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from willvaneaton.com (the "Site").
Personal information we collect
Order information. When you make a purchase, we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Contact information. If you email us or join our mailing list, we collect your email address and any information you choose to share.
Usage information. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) that collect aggregated, anonymized page-view data. This analytics tool does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.
How we use your information
- To fulfill and ship your orders, and communicate with you about them
- To respond to questions and provide customer support
- To send occasional emails about new prints and editions (only if you join the mailing list; unsubscribe anytime)
- To understand how the Site is used and improve it
Sharing your information
We share your information only as needed to run the shop:
- Stripe processes payments (Stripe privacy policy)
- Shipping carriers and print labs receive the details needed to produce and deliver your order
- Vercel hosts this Site and provides analytics
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
The Site itself does not set tracking cookies. Stripe may set cookies during checkout for fraud prevention and payment processing.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@willvaneaton.com. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion.
Data retention
We keep order information for our records (for example, to track limited-edition numbers and handle returns) unless and until you ask us to delete it.
